As part of the “Focus on Central and Eastern Europe” conference series, on 3. and 4. Novermber 2021, the International Conference “Higher Education, Justice and Anti-Discrimination in the German-Polish Context” takes place at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt an der Oder and in Slubice.
From the announcement:
“The central topic of the conference is how to deal with differences in the area of university didactics, be they of a socio-cultural or political nature. There is currently a shift from the social liberalization of the post-reunification period to populist even right-wing extremist tendencies in public and private life. This is happening in Germany as well as in Poland and is leading to internal divisions in society and to conflicts in bilateral relations.”
Dr. Claudia Neusüß from compassorange will be present with a lecture on “Good practices in dealing with differences”.
