Raising awareness in the areas of gender, unconscious bias and diversity were the focus of the workshop at the Philipps University of Marburg on June 22, 2022. dr Claudia Neusüß moderated and discussed basic concepts with the physics students. A few months earlier, on the initiative of the Equal Opportunities Office, the mid-level faculty and the study administration had received further training in the subject area. The interactive workshop also provided space for the exchange of experiences and reflection on everyday student life. All participants were able to explore their own diversity and take well-founded theoretical insights into the complexity of the topics as well as practical impulses for everyday study or student council work.
